Quality, looks, speed, size. It's a keeper.

by   mike0877 ,  May 20, 2005
Pros: Sized for back pocket, huge LCD, great quality.
Cons: Had to buy a larger memory stick (but you will with any digital camera)
The Bottom Line: I like this camera and prefer it to other higher-quality cameras I've used in the past.
Review: When looking for a camera, I had the following criteria - Small enough for pocket but keeping good quality. I feel this camera meets my expectations. Speed - I like how quick it can take a picture. Hit the power, then just snap the shot. No big ...

Fun and easy to use camera

by   no1doglover ,  Jan 1, 2007
Pros: Slim, lightweight, easy to use, great zoom, special effects, video, good battery life
Cons: Flash causes white spots (like most digital cameras)
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for its size, weight and ease of use. Can be fine tuned via the easy to use menu or just point and shoot. Great zoom !
Review: My sons bought this for me for Christmas 2005 (a year ago) to replace my Sony DSC-U30. The screen on the U30 was too small for me to see if I wasn't wearing my glasses but the giant screen on the T33 is no problem. I have a brand new grandson and ...

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T33 5.1-Megapixel Digital Camera - The Sony T7 Alternative or Less?

by   dkozin , lead in Electronics at Epinions.com ,  Aug 10, 2005
Pros: Fast operation, good image quality, battery status indication, features
Cons: No tripod mount on camera (uses dock), weak flash, looks, Memory Stick
The Bottom Line: I recommend Sony DSC-T33 if you want a ultra-compact, cool yet capable camera with 5.1-megapixels and huge LCD screen that produces excellent...
Review: After positive experience with the last year's S ony DSC-T1, I decided to check out the new super-compact models from Sony. I bought both the S ony DSC-T33 and the ...

Thin Is In!

by   camlover ,  Nov 5, 2005
Pros: Ultra-thin design; Larger-than-life LCD; Great menu navigation system
Cons: Awkward placement of shutter button & microphone; indoor image quality questionable
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a digital camera that's ultra-compact; easy-to-use & packs one big 2.5-inch display, don't look beyond the DSC-T33.
Review: The Cyber-shot DSC-T33 is one ingeniously designed and compact camera. With it's smooth silver-plated body, devoid of any bulky bits jutting out from the sides as in most other cameras, it truly is a pleasure to carry around, for it can easily fit into ...

Color and Chrome makeup for the T3

by   leisure_larry ,  Feb 22, 2005
Pros: More color choices, lighter, detail improvements over T3
Cons: still a weak flash, body larger then T3, chrome look matter of taste
The Bottom Line: Still an awesome platform in a tiny package. Now available in Chrome and color choices
Review: This review covers the Sony Cybershot DSC T33. At the point of this writing the T33 is announced but not available in the US in retail, just via internet. So to test it I had to go to Taiwan, as Sony hasn’t launched it in Japan either. Strange ...

Don't buy this until you have checked out Sony's T30!

by   missvivi2006 ,  Aug 25, 2006
Pros: Sleek, light-weight, good screen size at 2. 5 inch wide, exceptionally good image stablizer
Cons: normal 2.5 inch screen size, no magnifying effect, expensive battery
The Bottom Line: Good value for money a simple ultra compact camera that is pleasing to look at and fun to use.
Review: I was looking for the best performing ultra compact digital camera when I stumpled on this model-Sony T33. BUT I didn't buy this product! The T33 is excellent in all ways for an ultra compact camera user. The main draw of Sony's T series is the image ...

A surprisingly poor quality of pictures

by   georgehill50 ,  Jul 23, 2005
Pros: speed and view window
Cons: terribly poor quality (lack of details) compared to P10.
Review: I have a Sony cyber shot P10 and I really enjoy it for the superior high quality pictures. Then I thought the new model T33 got to be better. However, I am terribly disappointed. I have a series of photos taken at the same time, and the quality of P10 is ...
