Still my favorite Camera

I purchased this camera back when Best Buy only carried 5PM camera as the "top of the line" models...ahhh the dark ages...well today 7PM is pretty much standard and the price has dropped to the floor on this camera. But it is without a doubt the best camera I've ever owned.

The quality of picture is great (you can also adjust to be "less than great" if you want to get more pictures on a memory stick). I recommend getting the "faster" Song memory sticks so that if you take pictures of sports events you don't miss anything.

But, for a vacation you'll never find a better camera. it is small, but not so small you can't find it. The screen is big enough to see clearly on (even for my father who wears trifocals) and the menus take about 5 minute to learn to navigate.

Charging is easy and on the camera so you can look at photos easily while it's charging. It also charges extremely quickly. Mine takes about 25 minutes – and I still am using the original battery after 3+ years – how awesome is that!

Children can use it because if you set it on basic mode it’s just point and click to take pictures and the autofocus does a very good job all things considered when in this mode.
