Well behaved

I had a sergeant in the Army that used to drink this exclusively. He would take a can of Coke and drink a little out it and fill it up with Cutty. Only he called it Cutty Shark. He drank close to a fifth every night on the weekends this way.
Many years later when I wanted to return to drinking scotch and never having tried C.S. I bought a pint to drink. My first impression was very smooth. On the light side of the taste spectrum it is better than many more heavily advertised blended scotch whiskies. Anyone who believes this stuff has any burn to it must be drinking it straight from the bottle with gulps rather than sips. Pour yourself a shot or two on the rocks or some crushed ice add a splash of water or soda and enjoy. I would place this in the top tier of blended scotches. If you want peaty, full flavored blends try something else.
