Cutty Sark: Taste is Lacking, Price is a Winner

The Bottom Line: Don't spend over $20 on whisky/whiskey if you are just going to mix it. Shop for Cutty Sark first. It has a good price for an average taste
Review: Cutty Sark Original Scots Whisky is a middle of the road blended whisky that can be sipped only by those who are used to neat whisky. Other uninitiated whisky drinkers will think they can strip their furniture with it. Please add Cola.

Heresy? Cutty Sark LIKE Glenlivet

The Bottom Line: Try Cutty Sark at half the price of Glenlivet 12. Taste is similar but "The Glen" costs twice as much. Agree/disagree-either way both are excellent. Consider Cutty a cult whisky.

Well behaved

Review: I had a sergeant in the Army that used to drink this exclusively. He would take a can of Coke and drink a little out it and fill it up with Cutty. Only he called it Cutty Shark. He drank close to a fifth every night on the weekends this way.
