Makes Toast!!!!!!

Well after buying three (yes three) other toasters and returning two of them (we are keeping a spare two slice unit) we have dedicated some counter space to our new friend the Cuisinart Tan-4.

It makes almost completely even toast even when using small slices of bread (think Arnold or Pepperidge Farm 32 slice loafs) and fits a huge slice of homemade bread into the slot or big bagels no problem.

You can set it so that only one slot will fire up (bad choice of words?) saving energy if you aren't making 4 slices. There is a cancel button so if you want to cut it short you don't have to force a lever up (which probably weakens the mechanism for those that require that action occasionally). The setting for toasting are through an adjustable knob with an easy to read back lit display. There's a defrost setting, reheat and 'bagel', they all work.

We hope this one outlives us.
