Love it!

I had the first model of the Cuisinart Grind and Brew for several years, and while I was happy with the coffee, it came with a price. Taking apart all the parts and cleaning was a pain. Eventually the basket got stuck, so it was time to replace & upgrade. This model is designed very well, clean up is no more tme consuming than a regular coffee maker. I have the stainless thermal pot, and even without prewarming the pot coffee is very hot, hours after it has been made. You do have to play around with the strength selector (mild, medium, strong), your beans, your cup selector (even numbers, 2-12) and the amount of water you put in to get your perfect cup. It took me about a week. The cup selector works in conjunction with the strength selector to determine how much coffee to grind/brew. If you add 6 cups of water, select 6 cups on the maker, and select medium you will still get a fairly strong cup of coffee. If you like weaker coffee, add more water than what you select.
I'm pretty happy with the quality of the coffee and I'm a picky drinker.
The only negatives that I've encountered has been that it takes a bit longer to brew than the previous model, and it is LOUD while its grinding the beans. I initially set the timer so I could wake up to the smell of fresh coffee...that's not happening because the grinder alone wakes us up! A small inconvenience for good coffee, in my book.
