Cuisinart GG2 Sandwich Maker

I am a grill-a-holic grilling almost all year round. But as we age, it's harder to cook outdoor when it's below zero, so I decided to try this grill.
At first I cooked a steak with some dry seasoning. The steak tasted good. The next day I tried some frozen burgers, wow, what a big mess that was. The juices splattered all over the walls , my hood the floors & on me. The next day I tried cooking a steak that was soaked in some wet seasoning & it did the same thing on my burgers, it was a BIG MESS!
Then, cleaning it was worst, you can't really wash the other end of the grill because there's a part that hooks on your electrical power. I only used it 3x & I don't feel like using it again, because of the mess it makes on the surroundings & to itself.
