Powerful Enough Even For A Man

I bought myself this food processor for my birthday three years ago. I am one of those odd women who actually love getting kitchen gadgets as gifts. I was looking for an easy way to make salsa, pesto, and puree'd fruits in large quantities. I make large batches of each at Christmas time as gifts. I was tired of small batches taking me all day to finish.

This food processor is so easy to figure out and use even my husband uses it. This is a man who hates anything that resembles work in the kitchen. He loves this and his cuisinart smart stick and that is it for kitchen tools.

Thankfully this processor does not take up the extensive space that some food processors do. The heavy base makes it easy to handle large amounts of food without moving around the counter. This has a small feeding tube for smaller fruits and vegetables. A detachable disc system for compact storage. A shredding disc, thin slicing disc, 11 cup working bowl, chopping/mixing blade, dough blade and custom spatula. Most of the parts are dish washer safe.

When I first used this I could not believe how quiet the motor is on it. I could make double batches of cookie dough and it would not shake or screach like a friends does. No hers was not a cuisinart. I could hear the t.v., my daughter in the next room, and the phone in the back room. It was so hard to believe because any food processor I had used before would shake and dance and be so loud you could barely hear yourself think let alone what was going on around you.

I have used this for so many different things and always been pleased. I also like the fact that I only have two buttons to mess with. The on button and there is the off/pulse button. Since most of the items are dish washer safe cleanup does not take to long. I think what I love most about this food processor though is that it has a 3 year limited warranty. Along with a full five year motor warranty. I could not find this on any other food processor I looked at. This was also the best price I found for everything it offers. I love all of my cuisinart products. Two thumbs up for this processor.
