The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend the Cuisinart Coffee Bar , unless the company has worked out the bugs that my unit had.

Review: Writing from our experience this coffee maker makes excellent coffee but I find its durability to be in question. After 1 1/2 years the grinder seized up and the coffee maker was replaced by Cuisinart for a $10 service charge.... less than a year...

Wake up and smell the fresh-ground coffee!

The Bottom Line: This is the only coffee machine on the planet that can automatically brew you a fresh ground cup of coffee in the morning.

Not very durable for an expensive coffee maker

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product based on its lack of durability.
Review: We received our coffee maker (DGB-300) as a wedding gift in October 2000 and used/cleaned it consistently over the last 2 and a half years. One morning at the end of April 2003, the unit just quit; no display, no functionality.

The Bottom Line: I cannot recommend this to someone is trying to save time or make life easier. I can recommend it to someone who wants to make coffee and likes gadgets.
Review: I love my sister dearly for she is very thoughtful and giving. Therefore I continue to try and improve this particular gift which I treasure. But if I had bought this coffee maker myself I would have taken it back.

No more Coffee Grounds all over the counter! Coffee making refined to an art.

The Bottom Line: Makes delicious coffee. If you grind your own beans, cleaning up after this is much easier than the mess a grinder makes.
Review: Take it from a skeptic ... I've wanted this thing for a year. But everytime I looked at it, in the store, it looked like a giant pain to clean everyday. I didn't feel up to washing all those parts.

But I kept wanting one because I was sick...
