Pros: Price. Easy to use. Great tasting coffee. Coffee doesnt cook.
Cons: Takes longer to clean. more parts. needs light. not tall enough to fill travel mugs
The Bottom Line: buy this machine if you want great tasting coffee without paying tons of $

Review: I really like coffee. So with that said it was very important to me to have a good coffee maker. I looked at the kitchen aid Pro Line KPCM050, and probably would have gone with that if it werent for the price. I went from a bottom of the line...

Pros: Great coffee. No carafe to worry about.
Cons: Funky water dispenser. Short life.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The coffee was great! I liked that there was no carafe to mess with; the dispenser worked great and was very convenient. The "fuel gauge" was a bit hard to read, but very handy; I knew when I was getting low. The timer worked well, too. It had a...

Pros: No Carafe to break. Great styling.
Cons: Could use a light.
The Bottom Line: So far, we are very happy with the Cusinart DCC-2000. It has a sharp new style, and it makes great tasting, HOT coffee. Highly recommended.

Review: I don t think there is any kitchen appliance in existence that gets updated or replaced more frequently than the coffee maker. Whether it s because we ve managed to kill one out of sheer over-use, or (in our case) we see a cool new unit that we just...

Pros: Appearance. The reason for the purchase.
Cons: Cold coffee, more on your counter than in your cup

Review: They use to make only top of the line equipment but this coffee maker takes the cake in the other direction. I have gone through two of these thinking maybe the first was just a lemon. The coffee is never hot enough even when setting it on the fewer...

Pros: Good over a limited duration - brewing your coffee.
Cons: After 18 to 24 months, your brewer DIES - inoperable.

Review: The Cuisinart DCC-2000 Coffee Maker, over a limited duration, is good.. You get up in the morning and your coffee is nice and hot. BUT over a rather short duration - 18 to 24 months, the machine dies - does not brew. So you begin to ask...

Pros: Great looking without a carafe
Cons: Stopped working after only 6 months. Expensive unit that should have lasted longer!
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I bought this coffee maker because it didn't have a carafe to clean and didn't have to worry about breaking. The coffee making looked great in my kitchen with my other stainless steel appliances. It worked good for about a month, then starting...

Pros: sleek look
Cons: leaking under unit; small reservoir; no light to see how much coffee in cup.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I really liked the idea of no carafe like several other people have mentioned.
The problem I had was that it leaked all over the counter during brewing. I also found that the little water reservoir was very hard to pour the water into. I... |

Pros: Good coffee if you want to buy a new coffee maker every 6 months.
Cons: High failure rate.
The Bottom Line: This product is a waste of money.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: We were impressed with this coffee maker, except for a few design flaws, until it completely quit after 7 or 8 months. For $10 plus the cost of shipping back the old unit, Cuisinart sent a replacement. Now it's 7 or 8 months later and guess what --...
