Cuisinart DFP-14BC Custom 14 Cups Food Processor

I purchased this 14 cup processor after seeing it in so many kitchens. Ina Garten uses one extensively on her cooking show, Barefoot Contessa, and trying to recreate her recipes by hand is not easy. I do not aspire to be a sous chef, nor are my chopping skills above par. This item is $199 for the stainless steel version. Out of the box, its a dream. Easy to assemble, easy to use first time. Please be careful of the blades. This machine has razor sharp serrated blades. Learn to lift and hold the blades properly. The DVD included is informative if not a bit dated. Probably the two functions that sold me the most on this unit, is how well it makes pastry crust, and how easily you can prep all your sliced/grated/shredded ingredients for other recipes.
