Looks good, but I can make a mess on the stovetop for less $

Pros: Compact, lightweight, looks good.

Cons: Doesn't seem to function well. Boils over. Poor instructions.

Cooking directions are poor. A custom sized measuring cup is provided for the rice, and the cook pot has gradations that are also custom. These work only if you're using white rice. If not, you use a table in the book, but there is no translation between actual measurement and the provided cup. Also, the book table only has a few items. So, you're probably going to make a mess until you figure out the appropriate ratio of rice (or oats...) to water.
There is a seam on the lid that can't be reached with a sponge. Hard to clean.

I haven't tried others, but I wouldn't buy this again.
