Cuisinart CBK-200 Bread Machine

I had a Sunbeam bread machine for almost 10 years and never had a problem with it. When it finally died, I splurged and bought the Cuisinart Bread machine. I really liked the fact that I could remove the paddle before baking and all the options that came with it. The recipe booklet was pretty impressive and the controls were easy to operate. I also have a lot of Cuisinart appliances and figured I couldn't go wrong.

The biggest problem it had...and the reason I returned it...was that the machine had trouble kneading the dough. I used one of the recipes found in the recipe booklet to the letter and the motor kept labouring and the paddle kept stalling. I had to keep lifting the lid to free the dough. I thought it was the recipe, so I used another bread recipe that I've made very frequently and had the same problem.
