I thought I was the only one who bought a bad stereo.

I loved how it looked, but it had problems so I returned it to Target for a refund. The record player worked o.k., but I could not get it to change functions. I had to keep turning it off and on and pressing buttons to get it to change to the radio. It seemed like a software problem instead of a hardware problem. I wasn't able to get it to change to the CD function at all, so I never even bothered trying to make a CD. That was a bummer. I've got some really really old recordings from the 20s I was hoping to put on CD.

Also, the sound was just o.k. even when I played my stereo records on it. I kinda wondered if the components in it were left over from the 40s. It did not even sound like stereo. More like high fidelity than stereo. The sound was not nearly as good as it should have been for the price.

My only conclusion is that the Crosley people just do not care. It does not make sense that they would take the time to make such attractive junk.
