Crosley Entertainer Plus (CR79) Shelf System

I loved this little model. It played my OLD 78s from thje very early 1900s and sounded OK considering the records age and differing technology. However, one day aftyer owning this gift from my family about 3 months, instaed of using the fairly cheap looking remote I went to press a button, I had a tiny spark of electricity (static) from my finger tip to it's display and it NEVER worked again. I wrote Crosley for suggested or authorized repair facilities, twice, they never replied. I still have it in a corner of my closet because Im having hard time letting go of all that cost they paid, but I do not belive it will ever work again and Im not spending the money to lose another so easily. So dont let that happen to you, because form my experience the manufacturer will not even direct you to someone who can help you.
