A good starter player!

I bought this player about 2 months ago for myself when i go on walks. I don't know alot about Mp3 players as this is my first experience but it has been a positive one. The player is very small, and can easily be placed in your pocket. It stands up to being dropped. Because it doesn't come with a holder of any kind, it is bound to be dropped a few times before you find a safe place for it. The software that comes with the player sets itself up and is easy to use. I have found that it doesn't seem to pick up all the music on my system sometimes though. If I just downloaded it and i started the software I may have to restart it a few times to get it to find the new music. The player holds plenty of music for a beginner and with only three buttons on the side it is easy to operate too. Two of the buttons are volume up/down and the other button is your shuffle button which, when pushed, is also your options menu. You can seperate your music into folders but it is a pain in the neck to do so, you can set the equalizer, and bass boost, delete songs off the player, repeat a song or the whole player, and shuffle randomly. If you previously owned an Mp3 player you may not be impressed with this player simply because you will want more room for more music and more features, but for beginners this is elaborate enough to serve your needs and simple enough to learn how to use it in 10 minutes. I thought the earbuds delivered superb sound as compared to the cheap set of earbuds I purchased when my son ripped one of the buds off on the set that came with it. I wish they stayed in your ear though. The other important thing to mention here is that this player only takes one AAA battery and it lasts at least a week if you listen to it for about 4 hours a day. I actually played it through the night and still got a week out of it with the 4 hours of day usage, and the player came with a battery so I didn't have to wait to buy a battery.
