I've had these for about 3 months and I think they are excellent.
Great sound quality, very good aesthetics, I don't think you can beat the value for the price. The base is very good. The audio clear. I mean, I am not an audiophile. I want something that is clear and can get really loud if I want it to, and this fits those perimeters well.
There are a few wires you have to hook up. You do hook up the speakers to themselves, then there is one line to a power cord and a line to your computer. So there are wires (of course).
The knobs are very straight forward and easy to use.
The power know is on the back of one of the models and takes a little figiting to find in the dark.
There is an area to plug in headphones on one of the speakers. It works well but it depends on where the speaker is placed.
They are just cool to look at though, especially with the covers off. I've seen some that do not just look cool. These look cool.
They are not huge, but do take up some desk space, probably about average size.
I would highly recommend to anyone.
I've used them for music, movies, and internet and have zero complaints. It took about 10 minutes to set them up out of the box.
