Don't Buy It If You Don't Want A Stroke

I have had nothing but problems with this thing since day one 12/27/01. I paid $267.00 and it isn't worth a dime. I am running a Shuttle AK12 motherboard, AMD XP 1700 CPU, 512 MB RAM, 32MB TNT 2 Video, and WIN 98SE. My machine is up 99.9999 percent of the time without this piece of equipment. This is my second replacement and it appears that I might need a third.

That is if I could get a hold of tech support with their 8-6 central time M-F hours. Makes it real hard for people who are on the west coast and have to work. Whenever you contact Creative they always start from the very first support suggestion of the problem also which is very time consuming and irritating if you are using their e-mail system because even though the history will show everything that they have suggested and then you tell them what happened they always go backward. This would not be so bad, but it takes them 4-7 days to reply every time. By the time they issue you an RMA# it's already past the warranty period.
