Author's Review

The new Wii system has a great game for those who love pinball. The name of the game is pinball Hall of Fame. It is put out by Crave entertainment. This game also come with a customer support phone number to call if you have problems.

There are ten classic Williams pinball table on this disc. The games are:

Jive time whichwas popular in 1970. This table is a lot of fun but there is not a lot of graphics with it. There is also not a lot of color so you able to see where the ball is all the time.

Gorgar is a table from 1979. This table has a lot of red in it and what I would consider a type of monster. The red seams to make the ball a little hard to keep track of. I find this game to very enjoyable though.

Firepower is from 1980 and is also very colorful. This is a fast paste moving game with lots of bells and whistles.

Black Knight is from 1980 and has lots of colors and things to hit as well. I found this game to be fast pasted as well and a lot of fun.

Space Shuttle is from 1984. You have a big shuttle on the side of the game and everything you see and hit on has something to do with space flight. I found this game a lot of fun to play as well. My husband likes this table better than any of the others.

Sorcerer is from 1980 and is full of color. I have a hard time keeping track of the ball on this table.

Pinbot from 1986. This is a table for robot fans. The table talks to you in a computerized voice. There is not a whole lot of things to earn points with but it is still a lot of fun to play.

Taxi is from 1988. This table is slower. There are taxi cabs on the table as well as people trying to catch a cab. I found that the balls on this table are very fast. I do enjoy this game though it is not my favorite.

Whirlwind is from 1990. This is one of my favorites. There is a storm coming and you must get out of the way. I like that this game has a lot of things to hit on and ways to earn points. The table is fast moving and lots of fun.

Funhouse is from 1990 and has the theme of a carnival fun house. There is a boys face that looks like that wooden puppet howdy doody. He talks to you when you hit him. This game is lots of fun and you will laugh while playing.

In this game up to four people can play. You will also need both the nunchuk and wii remote control. The z button on the nunchuk works the left flippers and the b button on the remote control controls the right flipper. You can also wiggle the controller to make the ball move around a little. You must be careful because you can tilt these tables just like you would the real tables.

I do have to say this game has tons of warnings on it. You could get convulsions, loos of awareness, eye or muscle twitching, involuntary movements, altered vision or disorientation. There are tons of other warnings about seizures as well. They recommend that you stand as far as you can from the screen. Play video games on the smallest available television screen. Do not play if you are tired or need sleep. Play in a well lit room. Take a ten to fifteen minute break every hour. I know that they need to put these warnings up but my family and I have had no problems to date playing this game.

My Opinion:

I found this game for $14.99 right before Christmas and it was the best buy of the holiday. This game is loved by the whole family and adds a lot of fun to family night. I would recommend this game to  all those pinball wizards out there. My family recommends this game to everyone in general and hope that you find it as much family fun as well do. I think this game may every increase how many family nights we have a week.
