I'd have to say Crash Bandicoot: Warped is one of my favorite Playstation games. The graphics are great, and so are the sound effects. Just as in the past two Crash's, you are trying to kill Neo Cortex, Crash Bandicoot's arch-nemesis, along with four others.
But one thing is different. THE LEVELS! You do everything from riding a tiger (which you do as Coco, Crash's sister) to flying a fighter plane. One of my particular faves is Midnight Run, where you ride as Coco on her tiger while trying to avoid Chinese guys, rolling barrels, and dragons. There are two levels like this, but the other is in the daytime. There are also several racing levels where you are on a motorcycle. One occurs during the afternoon, where you are up against 7 other racers in blue cars. The next is basically the same, but it is early evening. The last one is a secret level (#28) where you are racing flying UFO's.
Other changes include the time trials, where you can obtain relics. First, you must get the levels crystal. Second, re-enter the level and hit the spinning yellow clock. To get the relic, complete the level in the given time. If you're really good, you might get the gold relic (normal color is blue), but you have to get done with the level even faster. Don't worry, though, because some of the boxes, instead of being brown, are yellow with either 1, 2, or 3 on them. Each of these numbers represent seconds. Hit them, and the clock will stop for that amount of time while you keep on going. One bad part, though. No checkpoints!
In Crash 3, there are special powers you can get by beating each boss. They are: double jump, bazooka (take it out anytime to shoot boxes, obstacles, bad people, etc.), power belly flop (twice the power), continuous spin (use this for jumping over large pits you couldn't do with the jump alone), and running (comes in very handy for time trials).
All the levels (except for the bonus levels) are accessed from the main port. They are divided into increments of five, and to get to the next one, you must get all 5 crystals and beat the boss. The other sections are blocked by an electric fence that is impossible to penetrate.
I would recommend this to any gamer, or someone who's looking for a fairly easy game to get started with
