Laughed and Laughed!

When you're reading this book, and I hope you do, it has to be done in such a way where Paul Reiser's voice is in your head. It is written as though he is having a conversation, not "trying to be a writer." If you're familiar with his sense of humor, the way he speaks and his body language -- you will get a lot more out of this book than just a few laughs. Even the inside flap of the dust cover is comedic!

This is Paul Reiser's first book written and it explains his "gist" of relationships. He travels all through the in's and out's of "couplehood" covering everything from your signifigant other suggesting they may have put on a few pounds thus wanting your opinion to blanket hogging issues. If you haven't already guessed it, this is not your typical "how to improve your relationship once you've entered 'couplehood" type books like the title suggests. You will learn things which may seem obvious, but with a hilarious flair.

It is an incredibly fast read not only because it is well written, but also because of it's content. I almost seems as though you're reading a journal of sorts because where else would you see points of views displayed in such a blunt and honest format? My personal views on "couplehood" has changed up on reading this book in that now instead of trying to be so serious all the time when it comes to the trial and tribulations of everyday life, I can know it'll turn out a little better if I approach things with a sense of humor instead.
