Author's Review
I have lived in both a thriving metropolis and the wide open spaces of the country. Currently I reside in a small rural town. So, it is no great surprise that I enjoy Country Woman magazine.
The issues include articles on some very capable and talented women. Women who create and run their own business (Jill Batchelder and her family make and sell beautiful cold weather custom made apparel) to artists (Mary Singleton paints lovely, realistic rural and country scenes).
Features cover fashion, decorating, mouth watering recipes, and more, all with a country slant. They also have recipe contests that you can enter in every issue.
The story pieces are interesting and worth reading. The photographs are exceptional.
If you live in a rural area, out in the country, or are just interested in the concept of country living, check out this magazine. For a sample of it's contents, log on to their web site at www.countrywomanmagazine.com!
