Author's Review

I picked up one of these magazines in a free section in the library, and I have never regretted that. I now have a subscription to it. I love the section in which the trends of yesterday, today, and forever are listed. I love the clean lines of the homes that appear in this magazine. It is contemporary and not necessarily so country that a reader might be turned off that prefers the uncluttered look in his or her home. I was even more pleased to know that there is a companion show to it called "Country at Home" on HGTV hosted by Mary Emmerling. I also like the fact that you do not have to buy antiques to get the country look, just know how to use what you can afford to achieve the look. The average middle-class home decorator can afford the ideas in this magazine.
