Esselte Dymo LetraTag QX50 Label Printer...Helping Me Get Organized

Date of Review:  Aug 29, 2007
The Bottom Line: I found the Esselte Dymo LetraTag QX50 a simple and easy to use label maker that fit my needs for my home and daycare files.
Review:
I remember many, many years ago my dad having one of those little label makers where you turn a dial to each letter that you want and eventually have a label made. It was rather time consuming, although I remember having fun labeling...

A good starter label maker

Date of Review:  Jan 19, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you're like me and always wanted an electronic label printer, this is a good, inexpensive unit to start with. It may be all you need.
Review: I had always been fascinated with label makers (my wife says it's a "guy thing"). When I was a kid, I had one of those Dymo embossing label makers, with the plastic tape and the big wheel, and the squeeze handle to press the letters into the label...

Not bad, not bad at all... and it looks good.

Date of Review:  Jul 17, 2004
The Bottom Line: An affordable labelmaker for the home and small office, and the label refills are cheap and easy to find.
Review: I spent an entire afternoon comparing this label maker with the cheaper Dymo models and the Casio. I ended up choosing this over the Casio label maker which was the same price. (Sorry I can't remember the product number for the Casio.)

Two...

The most affordable labeling system

Date of Review:  Aug 11, 2004
The Bottom Line: It's a good affordable labeling system.
Review: I've used Brother at my office for a while, then got QX50 when the machine was on sale at OfficeMax for $20 (I think) about 2 years ago. And I like it.

Brother has better labels (more color, size, etc), and they use laminated plastic kind...

Date of Review:  Feb 3, 2005
Review: I bought my LetraTAB QX50 in Amsterdam for 29.95 euros without reading these reviews. But now that I've read them...I'm doubly glad I bought it. The only problem I initially had was finding out how to remove the backing from the label (it's split in...

LetraTag Iron-on Labels Fall Off

Date of Review:  Jun 20, 2006
Review: Not recommended for laundry. I purchased the Dymo LetraTag QX50 specifically to make iron-on labels for my elderly mother's clothing. After only ONE washing, most of the labels came off! Of the ones that stayed on, the type was faded. Also, the type...
