Great Concept, Poor Execution

Date of Review:  Oct 30, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you don't mind untwisting straps every day, buy it. If you don't have the time or patience, choose another model.
Review: I purchased this seat for my daughter who had outgrown her other seat. I wanted to keep using the 5 point harness system as long as possible for safety reasons.

I like many of the design aspects of this seat. It is good for up to 100...

A Great, Affordable Choice in Booster Seats

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2004
The Bottom Line: This a very good, affordable choice for a booster seat. The ease of adjustment and safety rating make up for any minor inconveniences it may have.
Review: This year my husband and I were faced with a dilemma. We now needed to buy 4 new car seats for our family. Our 2-1/2 year old had been using a hand-me-down convertible seat that was now 5 years old and our 11 month old triplets were outgrowing their...

Cosco Summit:

Date of Review:  Feb 20, 2006
Review: The Cosco Summit is a great mid-range priced carseat. It is very easy to install and fits small cars well. We have a Ford Focus and the Cosco Summit carseat leaves plenty of room to adjust the front seats.

My only complaint is that it is...

Finally 5 carseat chairs in one!!! :)

Date of Review:  Jun 28, 2003
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend it. I will not have to buy another carseat ever again, as this also turns into a booster.
Review: After buying about 5 different car seats for my 2 1/2 and wishing that out of those 5 I could put one together for myself, I read reviews on this one and bought it. I have to say that finally a good chair was invented with MINOR problems. It is...

Another chance for Cosco

Date of Review:  Jul 8, 2003
The Bottom Line: The Cosco Summit has proven to be a very safe, comfortable and convenient car seat. I am very glad that I gave Cosco another chance.
Review: I had no intention of buying a booster for at least another couple of years since my son was only 11 months old and 22.5 pounds and fit just fine in his Evenflo Triumph with room to spare. However while on a long drive up north my son used his time...

EXCELLENT!!!

Date of Review:  Mar 31, 2004
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car seat to everyone. Bottom line: buy it, save your receipt, test it for fit in your car. If it doesn't fit, return it.
Review: I took a leap of faith when I bought this car seat for my daughter. She had outgrown the Century Accel (everytime I lowered the overhead bar, it would hit her in the head), and we needed something quick. Off to Wal-Mart I went, looking for something...

READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

Date of Review:  Sep 28, 2003
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this car seat to anyone because of the extreme head flopping issue, twisting straps and it is beigger than a convertible seat.
Review: This seat is crap! After researching many seats on the internet and here at e-opinions i decided to buy the summit high back booster for my nearly 2 year old dd. I have had the seat for almost 1/2 a year and i HATE, HATE, HATE it! One of the reasons...

I have reached the Summit--quicker than I would have expected

Date of Review:  Jul 23, 2002
The Bottom Line: Many great features make this seat very attractive, just make sure your seat expectations will be met when using this seat.
Review: I am now volunteering more and more time at a local car seat inspection station. I get excited whenever I get to install a newer model seat, or very upset when I see very old seats coming to be checked. The one seat that I was interested in seeing...

We'll never have to buy another car seat again!

Date of Review:  May 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: This seat is very safe, highly durable, and considering how long you'll be able to use it, it's pretty inexpensive. I'd buy the same seat if I had another child.
Review: The weight range on this seat is awesome, something like 20 - 100 lbs., which was a necessity for us because our son outgrew his carrier when he was 6-months old. It has three tilt adjustments, so he can recline when he is sleepy, and sit straight...

NOT a secure seat

Date of Review:  Jan 10, 2004
Review: Despite the fact that this carseat has cool features like a cup holder, armrests, detachable pillow, included harness covers, easy-to-adjust harness height, it DID NOT WORK in my 2002 Toyota Sequoia, 1991 Chevy Lumina sedan, or 1990 Chevy Pickup...
