We love this seat! (Model 22-260)

We have 2 small cars, a Mustang 5.0 and a Mustang Cobra convertible. It is a constant struggle to mind a SAFE seat that is small enough to fit into our cars. The Cosco Summit seat (model 22-260)was the only toddler booster Consumer Reports would recommend without reservation as a booster when used with the cars seat belt and not the harness. Since the base detaches from the seat, it easily fits into our cars. It is also a little wide and deeper and our long legged son has more room now.

Our son is now almost 19 months old and is over 31 lbs with clothing on and he is 34 1/4 in tall. Originally, we were just going to purchase on seat because we needed to replace the seat we have that only went to 35 lbs. But after using the Summit, we went ahead and bought another to replace our seat that went up to 40 lbs. We all like this seat much better, so it worth the extra money a little earlier than expected.

This seat is good to 40 lbs with the 5 point harness, then up to 100 lbs using the cars seat belt. It is EXTREMELY easy to adjust the height of the straps and to tighten and loosen the straps (depending on the amount of clothing). No loops to redo, just one hand.
