Not safe enough! Flimzy plastic. need one with steel alloy framing!

In Febrary 2007, my 3 yr. old daughter Hailey, was in a car accident and she was in this car seat. Properly restrained. They were in a Chevy Silverado. She was in the middle seat. A Fulll-size van ran a stop sign and her grandpa(the driver of the truck) had no time to react and t-boned the van. They were on the highway going 55-60 mph. On impact, this car seat's back bent forward far enough that my sweet little 3 yr. old daughter hit her face on the dash! She was in the hospital for 3 days. Had a front tooth knock clean out, fractured jaw, cuts everywhere, and her poor lip got caught up on the heater controls and completely cut through it at the corner of her mouth. She had over 50 stitches to fix it and all the damage inside her lip. She also hit her forehead really bad, no concussion, but to this day she still has a dent about 3 inches long. We got the Recaro Young Sport. It is so worth the money. it is made with a steel alloy frame. The best out there! save your money up to get it. It is so worth it. i would hate for anyone to go through this or even worse!
