A car seat the grows with your child

Our son it tall for his age, so at 9 months we decided it was time to take him from the carrier to a big car seat. We looked at several different ones in the store then I started looking online. I discovered that half of the car seats we looked at would probably only last him until he was like 2 - 2 1/2 years old and we would have to move him to a booster seat. That meant another car seat purchase. These things are not cheap to begin with so I started looking as seats that would last him until he no longer needed one. The Cosco Alpha-Omega elite was a perfect fit. So we went to the store to purchase one. I took the display one off of the shelf and reclined it to all positions, adjusted the straps, etc. to make sure that this is the one that we wanted. We decided to purchase it. Our son has alway riden well in the car and with the new car seat he went right in without fussing. He liked it. He liked it even more when we turned it forward facing. He rides along now for hours without complaining. The straps are comfortable and easy to adjust as he grows. He hasn't been able to get out of it at all. If you place the straps properly, no child should be able to escape out of a car seat, or maybe they can if you purchase one of the other seats.
