Pros: Lots of tasty recipes
Cons: Took me awhile to find a recipe in the magazine
Review: Here I was at the gym, trying to do my 20 minutes on the bike. I decided to pick up a magazine to read and pass the time. From the cover, I knew I would like this magazine. It was called Cooking Light, but it had a picture of a hamburger and onion...

Pros: Great pictures and recipes
Cons: Makes me hungry!
Review: It never fails, I am in the checkout line with my cart of groceries and I see the Cooking Light cover and I start to drool. I would trade my cart full of groceries right then for whatever wonderful food featured on that month's cover.

Pros: Flavorful delicious recipes whole family can enjoy, organized index of recipes on the back.
Cons: Some hard to find ingredients, non-cooking content, recipes require some level of ability.
The Bottom Line: If you are seeking to have a resource for light tasty meals this is for you. If you are not a cooking enthusiast you might not enjoy it.
Review: I've been trying to change my cooking in order to make it "healthier" for awhile, and thus far had been unsuccessful in finding recipes that my husband, (a pizza and steak kind of guy), would enjoy. I also have a picky five year old. I was almost at the ...

Pros: Great recipes that include nutritional values
Cons: Some recipes can be hard for novice cooks
The Bottom Line: Cooking Light is a useful magazine for those interested in eating smarter and tips on healthy living.
Review: I first found Cooking Light magazine while browsing at a bookstore 3 years ago. I was instantly fascinated and became a subscriber by calling 1-800-336-0125. I also found they have a website at http://www.cookinglight.com. The cover price is $3.50 and...

Pros: very tasty recipes, informative articles
Cons: no Death by Chocolate recipes
Review: If you didn't know the name of this magazine was Cooking Light, you wouldn't realize that the recipes are good for you.
Instead of using yucky no-fat substitutions to make over formerly good recipes, Cooking Light just emphasizes moderation... |

Pros: Great recipes that actually taste good
Cons: Slight gender bias
Review: For those pursuing the lighter, yet not tasteless side of cooking, Cooking Light can be a real treat. Besides a varied array of recipes, the magazine is usually full of articles on health and fitness. Not only cooking light, but living light.

Pros: easy, tasty recipes
Cons: needs to "kick it up a notch"
Review: I am not a cook. I don't enjoy it. And, truth be told, I am really no good at it. There I feel better with that out of the way. With that said, I'd still like to recommend Cooking Light.

Pros: Has recipes, health, and exercise tips
Cons: Some recipes are not "light" enough
Review: Cooking Light is not just a cooking magazine but more of a Healthier Lifestyle magazine. It is not filled from front to back with recipes which for me is a good thing because they tend to get overwhelming. It also includes health facts and exercise...

Pros: Good fresh food recipes
Cons: Some very artificial ingredients.
Review: I like this magazine a lot, but I do have one little problem. I expect a magazine with "cooking" in its title to be mainly about cooking. But sometimes you have to wade through a lot of other stuff to get to the food articles. Granted that...

Pros: good recipes
Cons: cut back on advertising
Review: I started buying the Cooking Light magazine after i saw one at a friends house. I found some really tasty recipes in it. We eat more of the reduced fat or no fat foods because of health problems. I find these recipes in the magazine fit right in. Besides...
