You can take a limited amount of pictures with it if you can't get a memory card right away! This product was purchased by me because it was a basic digital camera, but still had many features customers deem for a camera. All I got back was many memories that will last a life time from a low price camera that does so much. The zoom is the only weakness of this camera, but 4x optical zoom is not too bad anyways consumers love this camera!
