Won't buy another

Bought the unit through ebay. That was the most cost effective. Worked well for the most part in our basement. Our first try was a Kenmoore. It frosted up and quit working. Bought this one for its low temperature operation and "reliability". I wanted something that I could plug in and forget about. It did well...until I noticed it was never shutting off and the humidity level was staying high. It took about year...just like the Kenmoore. Turns out it's junk just like the Kenmoore...they have a surprisingly similar appearance too. I'm looking for quality. Can't seem to get it these days. Next dehumidifier will probably come from a garage sale. The older ones seem to still have that good 'ol American quality. Don't buy this one for the reliability. It's not reliable.
