The Bottom Line: Good buy
My husband and I purchased this because we knew from experience that we did not want to buy the whole matching carseat and stroller combo travel system. We decided on the Britax Companion as our infant carseat. The carseat is not stated as one that is compatible with the Combi Flash but in a babystore we tested various carseats on the Flash, both compatable and not. We personally felt that it the carseat fit okay in comparison to some of the compatable seats. There is also a tether belt that you strap around the carseat to help secure it.
The best thing about the Flash is how lightweight and versatile it is. We also purchased it for a super low price (under $30 new). For such an inexpensive frame stroller it has a decent basket and cupholder/accessory pouch.
It seems durable. We only got about 6 months of use from it because my son got too heavy for me to carry in his carseat. I needed to get him a regular stroller and leave the carseat attached to it's base in the car. At 6 months he enjoyed being able to sit up in a regular stroller facing away from me.
Maneuverability was okay. Nothing bad to report, but now that I have another stroller to compare it to, my new stroller is much smoother (we bought a 2007 Quinny Buzz).
A few minor problems we had with it was that when you fold it to its smallest position, the front wheels sometimes lock so that they don't swivel. I never notice it until I start pushing and get annoyed that I have to unlock it. Not really a big deal, but it happened a few times.
A universal frame stroller like this Flash is a great choice, especially if you know you are going to upgrade to a pricey stroller or need a twin stroller or something like that later.
