Coby CX-5 very small, good FM, weak AM.

This radio is extremely small for a speaker type pocket radio. The radio uses two small AAA batteries. The radio is light and easy to carry.
The attached telescopic antenna is sturdy and of ample length.
The radio has a clear tone. FM sensitivity is adequate with many stations picked up.
AM sensitivity is not good. Only one local and two station about 35 miles away can be heard.
An earphone jack is provided but it is hard to use this set with headphones because the telescopic antenna still has to be extended. The headphone cords do not function as an antenna.
