I picked this up before Thanksgiving in 2007 and has been in the windshield of my car since. I am always on the road and tend to drive a little faster than the posted speed, I'm talking about 10mph over the limit. This is the perfect detector for that. If you drive faster than 10 over, then you might want to spend that extra $50 - $100 on something made more for that.
The range on this is great, and gives the edge you need just to keep your money out of paying speeding tickets. We've all been pulled over, its embarrassing, time consuming, and expensive. This device helps stop that, and gives you that piece of mind to feel more confident while driving.
There is only one problem. If someone drives by you with a radar jammer in their window, it can cause your detector to change back to default settings or temporary stop working. The easiest thing to do is unplug it, plug it back in, and it should turn back.
Overall this device is great. The added bonus you get is the device detects behind you as well, to keep cops from sneaking up on you with out you knowing. You have a great sense of security with this and you should because for the price, i wouldn't trust anything else!
