This unit is the worst thing I have ever use

I received this unit for my birthday. I immediately opened it and started to use it. First, the setup is not intuitive at all. I use all types of electronics everyday and this is the worst interface I have ever encountered.

An example of this: when you enter an address, the system will begin to understand which specific street you are entering and only provides those letters on the screen, BUT IT DOES NOT AUTO COMPLETE (even though the user can only complete the street in mind). The GPS kept showing my current location in Chicago USA, but I live in Toronto, ON CANADA!!! This is a mistake of over 600 miles!!

The addresses in the address book are difficult to get to and I still haven’t figured out how to select it from the main map screen without having to go back to the main screen. I can find addresses and routes faster with a paper map. The user will spend so much time typing on the screen and navigating the menus, that they would forget to navigate the car and have an accident.

The system is also very, VERY SLOW. You would get to your destination before it did the calculations. Even though the system showed my current location in Chicago, I did a navigation to my home in Toronto. It took 12 minutes to make the calculations.

I have used other Cobra products before and have been generally satisfied, but this is the worst overall product I have encountered.
