Stay Clear of These

My radios are garbage. I have tried the suggestions from Cobra with both CTCSS and DCS sub-channels set. I’ve gone through the user manual and tried numerous settings. I cannot even get them to send the alert tone between radios, with or without squelch. I cannot even communicate between two rooms in our house. I purchased these to replace a set of Motorola radios that did not have the range as the Cobra. Boy WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I’m going to return these radios and purchase Motorola replacements with extended range. Even though the Motorola’s are larger. I WILL NEVER recommend to any of my sportsman friends that they purchase these radios. What a disappointment. I’ve wasted these radios on two separate trips where a GRMS / FRS radio would have been very nice to have. I can’t believe a product like these are on the market.
