Author's Review
This game is so much fun and it is hard to stop lots of the time. Each game is so much fun and very addicting! The nice thing is you can play Single Player or Multiplayer. Plus there are already so many games to choose from.
THE BASICS
When you turn on the game you get a screen that says Single Player or Multiplayer. In the Multiplayer section there are two chooses and those are Local Wireless and Nintendo WFC (Wi-Fi Connection.) Local Wireless is where you can play wireless with the people nearby you by using rooms. Nintendo WFC is where you can play opponents anywhere.
The Single Player section has three chooses to chose from. There is Free Play where you can play any games that are available (the unlocked ones.) Stamp Mode is where you clear the games in order. Mission is where you clear specific challenges. Usually these are things like solving games in time limits or other conditions.
THE CONTENTS
In this DS game there are 8 different categories of games (this is when you are playing the Free Play.) There are three categories of card games. The first is Basic Card Games which includes the games Old Maid, Spit, I Doubt It, Sevens, Memory and Pig. The next category with card games is called Intermediate Card Games and these games are Blackjack, Hearts, President, Rummy, Seven Bridge, Last Card and Last Card Plus. The final section that includes card games is entitled advanced card games and these games are Five Card Draw, Texas Hold Em, Nap, Spades and Contract Bridge.
Another section is Basic Board Games. In this category there are the games Chinese Checkers, Checkers, Dots and Boxes, Hasami Shogi, Turncoat, Connect Five and Grid Attack. Advanced Board Games, the fifth section, contains Backgammon, Chess, Shogi, Field Tactics and Ludo.
Variety Games are Soda Shake, Dominoes, Koi-Koi and Word Balloon. The action Games include Bowling, Darts, Billiards, Balance and Takeover. The Single-Player Games include Solitaire, Escape, Mahjong Solitaire.
MY OPINION
This is one of my favorite video games and probably my second favorite DS game. It is a close race between Mario Kart DS, Nintendogs and this game. They are all great games! I like playing Free Play and Stamp Mode on here and of course I like to play with friends. My favorite section of games would have to be the Action Games because I like all of the games a lot in that section. My favorite games on here are Ludo, Bowling, Darts and Solitaire. I dont mind playing any of the games though! The music does get old, but not at first and besides you don't have to listen, there is a volume control!
OVERALL
I highly recommend this DS game and you should definitely get it if you own a DS. It is fun and never gets old! The only problem is that there are so many card game sand some of them are very confusing! It is a great thing to have and invest in!
