Moore gets more and more useful the more you learn!

This was the first anatomy book I ever bought and I still love it! It's got EVERYTHING - the right amount of detail, clearly written, with super diagrams and pictures that make all that learning just a bit easier.
It's the pictures and diagrams in Moore that make the difference. People often say that they use different anatomy books for different aspects of anatomy, but Moore seemed to me to cover everything I needed to know, without the hassle of switching from one book to another whenever I changed limbs.
The aspect of the book that is 'clinically oriented' extends beyond the token 'coloured box' that you find in most anatomy textbooks. In fact, whenever there's some pertinent detail you're sure to be asked about on rounds or in clinic, it's usually referred to in Moore. This is great because it also allows you to cross-check to make sure that you do know all the crucial surgical landmarks relevant to the anatomy you're learning.
But the thing about Moore that makes it stand out from the colourful, marketed, exciting anatomy books filling the med. bookshop shelves is it's treatment of the Pouch of Douglas. I urge you to check it out - no other book comes close!
