Product Review

A great book and it is even better performed on stage!

by   coolguy721721 ,   Jan 9, 2004

Pros:  Amazing piece of classical theatre that makes you laugh and cry within the same scene.

Cons:  Not always appropriate for all ages due to sexual inuendos, "cussing," and violence.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I recently purchased this book to get a good understanding of what I was getting myself into before I went and saw it on stage. It is a classic and I enjoyed reading it very much. It has a great plot line, that can often be confusing. They incorporate real historical information and facts into the show since it takes place during the French Revolution. It's a love story, but not the soggy soap opera kind that you can watch on day time TV. It is also humorous and I would highly suggest purchasing it. This play is not suitable for children under the age of 12 since it contains sexual inuendos, "cussing," and violence.
