Michael Newman is a selfish and self centered workaholic who doesn't spend any time at all with his family. He barely notices his beautiful wife Donna and his two wonderful children Ben and Samantha. When Michael goes into Bed, Bath & Beyond one day he sees another part of the store in the back he's never seen before. Going in there he finds Morty, an eccentric old man who offers him a remote control that he claims could change Michael's life forever. Michael accepts the remote and when he finds out he can fast forward, rewind, pause, and even skip parts of his life, he thinks he's in Heaven until he wakes up one day as an old man and realizes he has skipped his whole life.

=Actors/Actresses=
Adam Sandler plays Michael and I really love the job he does. I love how he uses the remote to his advantage and then realizes he shouldn't have skipped the bad parts because it made him miss all the good stuff too. Sandler is funny as Michael but he also makes me feel sorry for him and that's something I like in a movie. Kate Beckinsale plays his wife Donna and she does an amusing job as well. I love how she grew older with Adam and how the two of them broke apart. Adam Sandler's performance was one I can't forget and I think he did a real good job of playing someone who learns from his mistakes and then tries to go back to fix them.

=My Opinion=
This movie is one that taught me to not take advantage of what I have and to appreciate the relationships I have because there's only so much time. I cried during the end when Adam Sandler was old and couldn't reach his son and I like how it made me feel emotions for the characters. The plot was interesting and held my attention and I really think it teaches a valuable lesson. Treasure those you love because you won't be able to forever.
