Pamper Yourself with the Clarisonic Skin Brush!

My daughter has beautiful creamy fair skin. Exfoliation is important but most creams and polishes on the market are to aggressive for her skin. After reading rave reviews on the Clarisonic I decided to purchase one for her.

After looking around I saw a price differential from around $150 on ebay to $195 at the Clarisoni and other skin care websites. Currently, there are two different models, the professional model and the classic. They sell for the same price so we naturally we opted for the professional. The classic comes with one button to control all the functions and the professional has two buttons.

The PRO Clarisonic model has 3 power levels: low, normal and high. It also has a T-Timer. This is an audible indication of how long you have used it. You can set it for one minute with 3 intervals or two minutes with 3 intervals or two minutes with 0 intervals. The factory default is one minute. Clairsonic recommends you spend 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds on nose and chin and 10 on each cheek.

The clarisonic must be charged for 24 hours prior to your first use and a charge lasts for 30 minutes. Oscillating at a frequency 0f 300 movments per second, the clarisonic deep cleans your skin. Apply a generous amount of cleanser to the brush head or to your skin and gently move the brush around your face.

Clarisonic makes 3 different brush heads delicate, sensitive and normal. The customer service rep told me that sensitive was suitable for most people. Normal for rougher skin and the body. These retail for $25 each and should be replaced every 3-4 months as they wear down.

The brush should also be carefully cleaned after each use so you are not spreading bacteria. Clarisonic recommends using hot soapy water.

My daughter loves her Clarisonic and I tried it, using a different brush head. (It's important for sanitary reasons that each person have their own brush head.) After use my skin feels soft and pampered.
