This is an excellent watch
Pros:
LCD sub-displays, multi-featured, no battery replacement, looks great, titanium version is relatively light...
Cons:
Alarm could be louder, bezel setting feature could wear out over the long run...
The Bottom Line:
If you want a great looking durable watch, with all the features (alarm, stopwatch etc.) you'd expect, that you can wear in all environments, this is your watch.

I always preferred a waterproof, divers-type watch, as you can wear them 24 hours a day. Whether you're in the water, the shower or doing the dishes, you don't have to think about taking them off.
This isn't a divers watch, but a pilots watch (and probably useless for diving). It is, however, quite waterproof (100 meters). Of the two watches (both divers watches) I'd purchased immediately before this one, the first had a battery life of a little over a year and fogged when I replaced the battery (I should have spent the money to send it to the service center to replace the battery). I decided I'd never again buy a watch that required battery replacement so I left the 21st century and bought an Invicta divers watch with a mechanical movement. It lost over 4 seconds per day and, as I was in a desk job at that time, the automatic rewinder was insufficient. It would stop once in awhile (it was not a bad watch had I been more active). It was, however, stainless steel and quite heavy. I finally decided that I was going to spend the money and buy a watch that had everything I wanted.
It had to be waterproof, never require battery replacement, be electronic (to keep good time and perfect date), have LCD sub-displays including a stopwatch and countdown timer, have an alarm, be light and not heavy to wear (a titanium, and not stainless steel, case and band) and have an excellent appearance.
This is the only watch I've found that meets all those requirements. I've worn this watch every moment of my life for 4 years now and have few regrets.
On average I lose less than 30 seconds per month so it keeps excellent time. This watch comes in both titanium and stainless steel. I highly recommend you spend the extra money and get the titanium version as, although it still has some weight, I doubt it's anywhere near what the stainless steel version weighs.
This really isn't a divers watch and if you are looking for a watch to dive with, look elsewhere. This was designed (and is marketed) as a pilot's watch and I can see why. You can move through timezones easily displaying different times (by timezone) on the digital LCD readout compared to the hands on the face.
Issues regarding replacing batteries are gone as the face is a solar panel and recharges the battery. Citizen claims that it can sit in total darkness for more than two years and keep perfect time. I have no doubt that is absolutely true. Wearing it casually, it always remains fully powered (there is a charge level indicator on the face). It conserves electricity when in darkness by only moving the minute and hour hand (which are luminescent). Everything else turns off. The moment you step into any light the seconds hand and LCD displays automatically spring to life.
The watch is remarkably durable but I did manage to put a slight scratch on the face when I severely banged it repairing a car. The titanium case doesn't even have a nick after 4 years.
I am extremely pleased with this watch but, as this a review, I must also state anything that I don't like about it. The alarm could be louder. It could have a backlight for the LCD display at night (at night you rely solely on the hand illumination which is quite visible). It is a little complicated due to the timezone features. You actually have to have some general understand of how the watch works which means you need to read some of the thick pamphlet that comes with it.
Probably the single greatest thing I would complain about is that to set things, alarms, countdown timers, or the watch itself, you have to pull out the bezel and twist it one way or the other. I'm concerned that in the long run, like 5 to 10 years, this may not be durable enough to sustain constant resetting.
That's it. It's the best looking, multi-featured watch I've ever owned. Probably the single most useful piece of electronic equipment I've ever bought.
