Decent Until You Run Out of Ink The First Time

This printer is easy enough to use and prints decent enough quality. The CD/DVD printing is a nice feature. Don't let the price tag fool you. When it's time to replace any of the ink cartridges you will have to bend over and grab your ankles. Replacing a full set of cartridges costs about as much as the printer - in fact I know people who have bought another one just for the cartridges.

Refilling the cartridges does not work. Not without a chip resetter - you see, Epson had the bright idea of putting chips on the cartridges that detect how many pages you have printed and prevent you from printing any more than that.

Pass this one up. The Epson Ink Mafia have got to go.

Expensive ink, running out of one color disables entire printer (no black-only printing).
