Beware of paper feed problems!

Date of Review: Sep 26, 2005

I am on the 6th Epson r200 now. No, I'm not kidding. I have given back every one of them, because of the same problem:it does not print on any heavier photo paper. It only prints on up to 26 # paper. I do not understand why this has not been brought to attention in these reviews. I find the very same problem with every one of them:after 8 to 40 prints on letter size photo paper (glossy or matte) the printer jams, even worse, it doesn't drop the paper down into the paper feed anynmore! How can a company get away with this??!! And why aren't consumers reporting this? I have bought this printer from three different stores in town, and each one has the same problem, before even a single cartridge has been used up! I have printed about 50 000 photo prints on different printers, and none of them had this kind of problem. Why do i keep trying them? it's the best photo printer in its class I have ever used! The quality of the prints is simply amazing and no canon printer even gets close to it, especially not the new line of Pixmas.
