Review: Data, it is the life’s blood of most business organizations, and my small (growing) computer consulting business that I run from my home is no different. Over the years I have gone through several backup solutions from external to internal tapes, ...

Why pay more and get less?

by   dbannie ,  Mar 24, 2005
Pros: price, inks, quality, speed, versatility, cd printing, low maintenance, separate ink cartridges
Cons: honestly I can think of none
The Bottom Line: I can't think of any reason not to recommend this printer unless you simply needed to print larger than8.5x11 OR 8.3 x 23.4 (panoramic) or needed to use archival inks.
Review: I finally had to cave in and buy a new printer last spring since the one that I had at the time I had purchased back in 1998 (yes 1998) and was a bit out of date. I shopped around and was interested in going with a laser printer if possible since in the ...

The Bottom Line: This is a masterful crafted classy design with features beyond most people's requirement. Definitely worth the price.
Review: As a user of this watch JR3060-59F for a few weeks, I like to share some of my experience with it. I have to say that I love this watch and enjoy to look at it any time. In stead of going through its features, I will focus my feel about it. The feature ...

What fun printing CD/DVDs is!

by   miss_jasmin ,  Nov 28, 2004
Pros: 6 individual ink cartridges, great for CD printing
Cons: slow for large documents compared to laser, tricky to figure out cd printing
The Bottom Line: If you're in the market for a printer and want one that can print CDs, this printer is for you!
Review: In olden times, to print CDs or DVDs you had to use those annoying labels that never went on quite straight. They took up a ton of ink and usually the quality was so-so on an ink jet. Then came the thermal printer. Great quality but huge price, ...

Epson R-200, Photo printer

by   sirtayls ,  Aug 14, 2005
Pros: Incredible quality, six individual ink cartridges, cd label printing, inexpensive
Cons: none found so far
The Bottom Line: A photo quality printer of this caliber in this price range is just amazing. Add the fact it does CD printing and you have a must have printer.
Review: I purchased the Epson R-200 as a replacement for the Canon S-820. It has many similar features, plus an additional one - the ability to print directly onto DVDs and CDs. setup Like most printers today, setup was a non-issue. Unpack the ...

The little printer that can

by   pawtraitp ,  Oct 21, 2005
Pros: Best value photo printer on the market
Cons: none really
The Bottom Line: If you have $300 to spend on a photo printer, don't buy anything else!
Review: The Epson R200 is one those hard to find things called a bargain - forget buying it to print your term papers or your knitting patterns and recipes off the internet, it is a photo printer... there got that out of the way, feel much better. The box ...

Respectable Photo Printing at a Budget-Friendly cost.

by   steventhomas42 ,  Oct 28, 2005
Pros: Individual color cartridges, on-disc printing, BorderFree (TM) printing.
Cons: No printing when a cartridge is empty, not designed for heirloom photo printing
The Bottom Line: It's a good value on a good quality photo printer for the home/small office user.
Review: We purchased this printer at the recommendation of a co-worker at a time that we needed to upgrade. I was not seeking photo-printing when we began, but it paid off well in our first month of use. Shortly after we brought the printer home, my in-laws' ...

Some bugs, but still a great watch

by   scardini1 ,  Jan 5, 2006
Pros: Light weight! Accurate. Never needs a battery. Good bang per buck rating for a pilot.
Cons: Must remove from wrist for some functions. Band is very hard to adjust. Somewhat bland.
The Bottom Line: I would immediately buy another if this one "disappeared" as well.

A few tricks about the R200, but good printer.

by   wowzer42 ,  Dec 13, 2005
Pros: Makes customized CD/DVD with inkjet compatible media.
Cons: No mention of the need for clearance behind the printer. Otherwise, excellent product.
The Bottom Line: Excellent product.
Review: Okay, I really put the cart before the horse on this purchase. I bought some DVD-R for my G5 Mac, thinking that I can burn some movies. Since I saw the deal online at a great price, I figured to buy the printable DVD's. Turns out there are 2 ways to ...

Nice printer for printing CD's

by   realorganized ,  Nov 19, 2004
Pros: Good for printing CD's
Cons: Would not recommend for anything else due to high consumables cost.
The Bottom Line: Getr it for the CD printing but buy a color laser printer if you want to print lots of color.
Review: I picked up this printer because of it's ability to print CD's. It does that and is quite nice at it. It's also a good general printer and can also print photo quality images as well as it has 6 colors. The price is right and there are drivers for Mac ...
