Cisco PIX® 525 (PIX-525-UR-BUN) Firewall

This Unit is great for a low impact soluction. The Cisco PIX 525 has i great IOS which allows for easy transport of packets without great risk of Collisions or Virus/Spyware. Although i primarily use the CLI the GUI is very intuitive and simple to use. The PIX OS is a great way to utilize all that the PIX has to offer. This unit also has Failover as well as VPN Opti. Although this unit is becoming dated i still believe it is a great solution from some great security. Although in this day and age I recommend buying something more powerful, this unit only has 32MB ram and a Pent 3. This unit is scheduled to have its end of life this year (2008) in mid summer
