Don't buy if you have good hearing.

Bought one to replace my WRT54GS that has given faithful service for the last few years as I wanted Gigabit speeds. Looks like it has a nice set of features (GigE, VPN, VLAN, DMZ) but I'm not going to get to find out how nice as I am about the take my second one back. I sit near this thing, my room is reasonably quiet and I have average hearing. The box emits a high pitched whistle that modulates when sending/receiving data, resulting in a kind of morse code that sets your teeth on edge. Took the first one back, exchanged for another. Second box has the same problem.
