Pros: Simple, comfortable, accurate, dependable, and they take much less space than a mouse.
Cons: Not a single drawback.
The Bottom Line: I can't think of a single reason to use a clumsy mouse with all its limitations instead of a touchpad.
Review: I started using Cirque Touchpads about 15 years ago, and I have never willingly used a mouse since. As a consultant and trainer, I often use other's equipment, and so am continuously reminded of how much time and motion is wasted by mice, and wonder why ...

Pros: No running out of Mouse Pad, no "ball" to clean, no wrist pain!
Cons: Very slightly less control than a mouse.
The Bottom Line: If space, or CTS is an issue, give it shot, you won't go back.

Pros: no moving parts, ambidextrous, extremely reliable, lightweight, very compact
Cons: may have to adapt from mouse use habits
The Bottom Line: More efficient with use of space and operator's motions, usable with either hand, extremely reliable (no moving parts), can customize functions of buttons easily, very easy to learn and use.
Review: I came to mouse use only in 1995 after nearly 20 years of non-Windows computers, being very comfortable working in DOS since college. I immediately disliked the inefficient use of desk space that a mouse required, constantly running into my desk papers...

Pros: gets rid of pain, reliable, easy to clean, intuitive feel
Cons: takes a few hours to get used to
Review: I developed hand/wrist pain because I use a mouse on a daily basis. Changing chairs and changing desks did not help, it was the operation of the mouse itself which caused the injury. With this touchpad, the pain vanished and stayed away even after ...
