Author's Review
Cindy Crawford's third fitness tape, "New Dimension", is aimed at new mothers, since Cindy herself is a new mom. She thinks she gained an obscene amount of weight during her pregnancy, so all through the tape, she giggles demurely and says things like, "this exercise is good for my double chins" and "boy, I still have a way to go to get back in shape". Resist the temptation to throw the empty video box at her.
Thankfully, Cindy dumped Radu for Kathy Kaehler, fitness guru to the stars. She also had a child recently. Kaehler obviously has much more fitness experience than Radu. Her workout is far less gymnastic and far more practical. It's broken into three segments: a 12-minute beginner workout; a slightly more difficult 16-minute workout, and the 41-minute butt-kicker. She recommends a course of action that builds up to the third workout only after the first two are completely mastered. Not only does this help people avoid doing too much at once; it also keeps moms' time constraints in mind. The exercises themselves are really simple and require very little space or equipment.
There are lots of shots of Cindy's perfect baby and more of that grainy-black-and-white-intercut-with-color photography, but the music is mellow and quite pleasant.
