The Bottom Line: I can't recommend Cicada enough -- it's smart, funny, intelligent,thought-provoking, and quite possibly the best money I've ever spent.

a teen magazine thats intelligent!

Review: When you compare it to more popular teens magazines such as Seventeen and YM you notice a few things. For starters don't expect any make-up advertisements, anorexic models (or any models for that matter) no horoscopes and you wont find any articles...

inspirational calico of teen literature and art

Review: Great literary magazine for teens. Expensive BUT worth it. The publication inspires my kids to sit down and write or draw. Best alternative to trash laden with advertising.
